Valerie Caro, Treasurer

Valerie Caro is a 34-year resident of Flagstaff with deep ties in the community. She believes strongly in giving back to Flagstaff and Northern Arizona. Valerie has been involved with FMC for over 10 years, initially with the Philanthropic Disbursement Committee, and as an active Flagstaff Medical Center Certificate Holder since 2003. She represents FMC in grant distribution through her involvement with the Flagstaff Community Foundation- Healthcare and Victim/Services Committee. 

Valerie also works with the NAU Foundation; she helped establish the Emily Marie Benson Memorial Scholarship, which provides yearly scholarships for students with serious medical conditions. Valerie currently serves as the Vice Chair of Development for the Boys and Girls Club of Flagstaff.

Valerie is polished, thorough and extremely competent in her expertise and knowledge of the Flagstaff real estate market, and with 26 years of real estate experience she is the driving force behind her team’s success. Her extensive experience ranges from exclusive residential and land sales to project development. Commitment, honesty and enthusiasm demonstrated in her personal life are transferred equally to her professional life. She is dedicated to building long-term relationships, continuous self-improvement and providing a friendly, professional atmosphere.

In her personal time, Valerie enjoys spending time with her 12 nieces and nephews, traveling with friends and riding her horses.  She and her husband Mark ride “almost every day” and love to compete in Cowboy Mounted Shooting events across the Southwest.
