Richard Hays, M.D., Medical Staff Representative

Richard Hays, M.D., joined the FMC Board of Directors in 2010 as the Medical Staff President at FMC. Dr. Hays specializes in Anesthesiology. His special interests include Family Practice and Pain Management.

Dr. Hays is earned his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, Sacramento, Calif. He completed his anesthesia residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson;  and his family practice residency at the University of California, Sacramento. He did his fellowship in obstetrical anesthesia at University of Arizona, Tucson.
 
Dr. Hayes is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Family Practice. His professional associations include the American Society of Anesthesia, the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society of Obstetrical Anesthesia and Perinatology, the American Medical Association and the Arizona Medical Association.
