J. Thomas Montfort, D.D.S.

J. Thomas Montfort, D.D.S., has served on the FMC Board of Directors since 1999 and is a former chair of the board. He has had a solo dentistry practice in Flagstaff since 1981.

He has served in leadership capacities for several groups including president of the Northern Arizona Dental Society and Malpais Kiwanis, and vice president of Northern Arizona Dental Study Club and The Vienna Study Club. Dr. Montfort’s father, John Montfort, was a former FMC Board of Directors member and past president.

Dr. Montfort and his family moved to Flagstaff in 1969. He is a local graduate of Flagstaff High School and Northern Arizona University, where he majored in chemistry. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1981.
