Cancer Survivor Series

A new cancer survivor series, sponsored by the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare (CCNAH), is about to get underway in Flagstaff.  The group meets 4:30 – 6 p.m., the first and third Tuesday of the month beginning Oct. 1 through Jan. 21 at the Northern Arizona Healthcare Education Center, 1000 N. Humphreys St., in the Bashas’ Shopping Center. For more information, call the CCNAH at 928-773-2261.


The eight-week series offers various topics to benefit those affected by cancer. Topics include chemo and brain fatigue; the importance of exercise and nutrition; physical post-surgery changes; hormone changes; how to deal with neuropathy, pain and scarring; and much more. Participants can attend the entire series or individual classes.
