Machine Solutions Run for CHC benefits chronically ill and disabled children - Aug. 4

For more than 30 years, runners and walkers have enjoyed fresh air and altitude of Flagstaff while helping to support the medical needs of children by participating in the Machine Solutions Run for Children’s Health Center (CHC). The annual fund-raiser, which benefits the CHC at Flagstaff Medical Center, draws participants of all ages and abilities.

This year’s event set for Saturday, Aug. 4, offers a 5K and 10K trail run or a 2K family fitness walk/run at the Fort Tuthill County Fairgrounds, located just two miles south of Flagstaff on I-17, exit 337. Runs start at 8 a.m.

Registration fees are $40 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K; fees for the 2K family fitness run are $50 for up to four family members or $20 for individual participants. To register, visit virtualroster.com or call FMC Foundation at 877 527-5291 to sponsor this event.

CHC provides specialty pediatric outpatient clinics and healthcare for Northern Arizona children with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Programs include: Children’s rehabilitation Services (CRS), Safe Child, a child abuse examination/interview clinic, and other pediatric subspecialty clinic and therapies.
