This year’s theme is “Celebrating the 50s.” Attendees will be treated to a free lunch, fun photo opportunities, raffle prizes and music from the local band Survivors, featuring Clay Harper, Bill Bassett, Lyle Pratt and Jeff Scrimma.

The event is part of National Cancer Survivors Day, an annual worldwide celebration and time for cancer survivors and their families unite to show the world life after a cancer diagnosis is possible. The event is open to all cancer survivors. Cancer survivors are those living with a history of cancer ¬– from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life. In the U.S., there are approximately 13.5 million cancer survivors – individuals who prove every day that even with a cancer diagnosis, people can lead active, productive lives. Everyone whose life has been touched by cancer is encouraged to attend.
