Cancer Survivor Series and Support Group – Jan. 7, 21

The Cancer Survivor Series, sponsored by the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare (CCNAH), meets 4:30 – 6 p.m., the first and third Tuesday of the month at the Northern Arizona Healthcare Education Center, 1000 N. Humphreys St., in the Bashas’ Shopping Center. The next two groups are set for Tuesday, Jan. 7 and 21. For more information, call the CCNAH at 928-773-2261.

The series offers various topics to benefit those affected by cancer. Topics include chemo and brain fatigue; the importance of exercise and nutrition; physical post-surgery changes; hormone changes; how to deal with neuropathy, pain and scarring; and much more. Participants can attend the entire series or individual classes.
