FMC's annual Fantastic Voyage Sept. 29 – part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science

Sept. 14, 2012

As part of the 2012 Making Waves Flagstaff Festival of Science, Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) will host Fantastic Voyage from noon – 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29. This event is designed for school-age children and will feature displays and fun hands-on activities promoting exploration of the human body and healthcare.

Activities include an opportunity to see Guardian Air’s medical helicopter and Guardian Medical Transport’s monster ambulance. Also get the chance to learn how the human body works and other health-related activities. Together, kids and their parents can learn valuable information about their bodies and how to keep themselves healthy. Kids can bring their Festival of Science passport and have it stamped, too.

FMC’s Fantastic Voyage is an annual event held in conjunction with the 10-day Flagstaff Festival of Science. For more information on this event, call 928-773-2080.
