Free Infant/Child CPR and Safety Classes – April 4, May 8

Flagstaff Medical Center’s Childbirth Education Department, in partnership with
the Flagstaff Exchange Club, Flagstaff Public Library and North Country Healthcare is offering free American Heart Association Family and Friends Infant and Child CPR and Safety Class.

These classes are offered 6 – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 4 at the Flagstaff Public Library, 300 W. Aspen, Flagstaff and Wednesday, May 8 at the North Country HealthCare Learning Center, 2920 N. 4th St., Flagstaff.

This safety course is designed for parents, family, friends and caregivers of infants and children. Participants will learn to respond to crisis situations, deliver CPR and relieve choking until professional help arrives. Topics also include injury prevention, environmental emergencies, home safety and car-seat education. Participants will receive an American Heart Association booklet. This is a two-and-a-half-hour non-certification course.
