Be heart-smart: free cardiovascular health lectures for the community

The Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona and Flagstaff Medical Center are sponsoring cardiovascular health lectures as part of American Heart Month:
- Tuesday, Feb. 24, 5:30 – 7 p.m.: James Dwyer, M.D., interventional cardiologist, will present “Getting Cool at Cardiac Arrest Centers.” Dr. Dwyer specializes in coronary intervention for acute myocardial infarction and the treatment of congestive heart failure. He is the medical director of the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona.
- Thursday, Feb. 26, 5:30 – 7 p.m.: Eric Cohen, M.D., will present “My Aching Legs: New Concepts in PAD Management.” Dr. Cohen specializes in vascular care and the treatment of PAD and limb salvage. He is the medical director of Peripheral Vascular Intervention at the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona.
