Frances, Michele and Henrietta share a close sisterhood and a love for softball. They grew up playing the sport. Unfortunately, as obese adults, softball became too strenuous. With a cumulative weight of 750 pounds, the sisters realized the only healthy part of their lives was their relationship. The decision to attend an information session hosted by the Bariatric Surgical Weight Loss Center at Flagstaff Medical Center was a pivotal moment in their quest for health.
The team of experts provided the answers and the support the women needed before their weight loss surgeries and in the months following. Today, Frances, Michele and Henrietta have lost a combined 348 pounds. Life is a whole new ball game now.
