Education and Resources
The Spine and Joint Surgery Center offers FREE weekly Education Seminars for patients scheduled to have spine or joint replacement surgery.
FMC's orthopedic and neuro surgeons highly recommend this seminar to better prepare patients and their families for their upcoming surgery.
Patients are strongly encouraged to bring a friend or family member who will be their “coach” during the recovery process. Each participant reviews the Patient Education Guidebook they received from their surgeon. Refreshments will be served and the seminar is free.
Time/Date/Location - For spine patients, the class takes place every Monday from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Joint replacement patients have two options: a Tuesday class from 9 - 11 a.m. and a Wednesday evening class from 5 - 7 p.m. The classes are located in the Peak Performance Room in the Spine and Joint Surgery Center.
