Aquatic Exercise

Aquatic excercise is a low-impact activity for everyone.   Classes are geared towards people with medical conditions or those struggling with weight issues.  Water resistance and buoyancy are used to improve range of motion and strengthen.  Classes are individualized and paced to fit the participants.  Call 928 773-2125 to schedule.

Class Times and Cost:

  • Friday 5:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, Wednesday, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
  • $5 per class or $40 for ten classes

Additional Information:

  • Water buoyancy helps to protect recuperating knees, ankles and hips.
  • Great for overweight individuals looking for excercise, but unable to walk far enough out of the water to effectively burn calories.
  • Aquatic excercise reduces pain and increases flexibility.
  • Water supports and massages the body as you excercise.
  • All of the benefits of land excercise - without the sweat.
  • Reduced pressure, stress and risk of injury.
  • Often recommended following surgery to minimize postoperative swelling.
  • Burn more calories during and after excercise.
  • More fun!!
