Visitor Information

Flagstaff Medical Center values the healing nature of friends and families. However, a patient’s rest and recuperation also is a top priority. FMC has established visiting hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Visiting hours for Intensive Care, Labor & Delivery and the Emergency Department are at the discretion of FMC staff. Please call 928 779-3366 and ask for one of these units before visiting.

After-Hours Access
As a part of the effort to maintain a safe and healing environment, public after-hours access will be managed by designating specific entrances for use.

Public access will be through the following designated entrance only:
Emergency Department - Open 24 hours seven days a week.

All other entrances will lock at 9:00 pm.

Annual Visitation Restrictions
During Influenza and Respiratory Sysncytial Virus (RSV) season visitation restrictions in all patient-care areas of the hospital will go into effect. Please limit visitors to two at a time. Children 18 and under will be restricted to first-floor, common areas of the hospital and cannot be left unattended. No one with a cough, fever or sore throat should visit the hospital unless they are a patient.

Medical/Surgical: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Med/Surg includes 3-North/Orthopedics and the Spine and Joint Surgery Center, 3-South/Telemetry, Humphreys, 3-West, 2-East and Short Stay. These units are located on the third floors of East and West Campus and the second floor of East Campus.

Women and Infants' Center
Located on the East Campus, just north of the parking gargage.

Obstetrics: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
This is the Gynecology and the Mother and Infant unit. One guest may stay in the room overnight, if the patient desires. Visitors must be free of infection. Located on the third floor. Children under the age of 18 are not admitted, including siblings, during annual visitation restrictions to due Influenza and RSV season.

Labor and Delivery:
Visitors are permitted at the patient's discretion. Children under age 12 are not routinely admitted, yet may visit under the direct supervision of an adult other than the support person. Located on the second floor. Children under the age of 18 are not admitted, including siblings, during annual visitation restrictions due to Influenza and RSV season.

Special Care Nursery:
Individuals with authorized identification bands may visit anytime. Visitors who do not have a band may visit, but only when an authorized banded person is with them. Limitations may apply. Located on the first floor. Children under the age of 18 are not admitted, including siblings, during annual visitation restrictions due to Influenza and RSV season.

Pediatrics:
Located on the second floor of the East Campus.
Parents or legal guardians are encouraged to stay with the patient around the clock. Visitors under the age of 12 may be permitted with adult supervision. Children under the age of 18 are not admitted, including siblings, during annual visitation restrictions due to Influenza and RSV season.

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU):
Located on the second floor of the East Campus.
Hours may be flexible according to the schedules of immediate family. No more than two visitors may be in the room at a time. Children under the age of 18 are not admitted, including siblings, during annual visitation restrictions due to  Influenza and RSV season.

Behavioral Health Services:
Located on the second floor of the West Campus. For the safety of the patients, personal belongings such as cell phone, purses and jackets will not be permitted on the unit.
Monday - Friday evenings: 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 1 - 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

ICU and CVICU:
Located on the first and second floors of the East Campus.
Hours may be flexible according to the schedules of immediate family. No more than two visitors may be in the room at a time.
